Nuneaton, Warwickshire
Mathematical Gazetteer of the British Isles
Thomas Simpson moved to Nuneaton, in the 1720s and married his landlady, a widow, in 1730. Apparently he dabbled in astrology and had to flee to Derby when a girl had a fit while being exorcised. He moved to London in 1736. [1]
