DEANS COURT POOL LADDER RULES

Any player may challenge another player up to three places above him/her.

A challenge is determined by a single frame of pool.

If a challenge is successful, the challenger takes the losers place, the loser and any players
in between each move down one.

If a challenge is unsuccessful, the ladder remains unchanged.

A draw is to be considered an unsuccessful challenge.

The cost of the frame is to be split between the two players.

Any players not on the ladder are considered unranked. These players may challenge
positions 14, 15 and 16 on the ladder.

At the end of the 15th and the last day of every month, running scores for the pool ladder
will be calculated, and the pool ladder will be reordered:

The player at the top will get 10 points. The 2nd placed player gets 6. 3rd, 4th, 5th
          and 6th ranked will get 4, 3, 2 and 1 point respectively.

The top 8 players will be drawn at random for the top 8 places, the rest will be drawn
at random for the next 8 places/unranked.

Refusal of challenges:

A player may decline a new challenge for 1 day, but must either play or concede the
          next day.

A player may decline a 'repeat challenge' (any challenge issued by the same person
on the same day as a failed challenge) for 2 days, but must then play or
          concede 2 days later.
