The Mahler Lecturership of the Australian Mathematical Society


The Australian Mathematical Society was a beneficiary under the will of Kurt Mahler and used the money from the bequest to fund a visiting lectureship in his honour. The award is made every two years to a distinguished mathematician who preferably works in a area of mathematics associated with Kurt Mahler.
