John Alexander Third

1865 - 1948


J A Third graduated from Aberdeen and became Rector of Campbeltown Grammar School and later headmaster of Spier's School in Beith. He went on to become Director of Education for Ayrshire. A prize at the University of Aberdeen is named after him. He became President of the EMS in 1902.
