Alexander George Burgess

Alexander Burgess graduated from Edinburgh and taught at Merchiston Castle School Edinburgh and at Rothesay Academy. He became Rector of the latter school. He became Secretary of the EMS in 1908 and President in 1912 and was responsible for organising the first EMS Colloquium in 1913.
